Summer Philanthropy Fellow at the Flora Family Foundation

Interested in international development? Want to learn more about the impact of international grantmaking?

Apply to serve as a Summer Philanthropy Fellow at the Flora Family Foundation!

The 2007 FFF Fellow will have three primary tasks:

(1) analyzing the foundation's seven-year program of grants in international development to distill lessons learned;
(2) researching potential grant candidates for a special round of awards in Bangladesh in February 2008; and
(3) reviewing and responding to grantee reports, mainly (but not exclusively) from organizations working abroad.

The Fellow will work closely with the foundation's president.

Note that for this particular placement, juniors and graduating seniors are strongly preferred.

Fellows receive a $4,000 stipend (plus financial aid, if eligible) for nine weeks of summer service and participate in four philanthropy fellowship site visits throughout the summer. For more information, please see the attached placement description and Philanthropy Fellowship brochure.
