The Centre on Asia and Globalisation (CAG) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of
Public Policy in Singapore is looking for a project manager for a three-year
research project on Global Governance.

The ST Lee Project on Global Governance is a three-year initiative to be
launched by the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) and its Centre
on Asia and Globalisation (CAG). Strengthening global governance is at the
core of LKYSPP's mission of inspiring the next generation of leaders,
improving lives and transforming Asia. CAG brings together leading scholars
and policymakers from around the world to analyse the management of global
issues and Asia's role in a rapidly changing and integrating world. The aim
of the project is to develop a volume of critical research and innovative
proposals that would identify the challenges of global governance, make
recommendations for a new approach, and feed into the decision-making of
policymakers, heads of governments and international institutions.
The Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the success of
this project. He/She will have the following responsibilities:
- - Manage all events related to the ST Lee Project on Global Governance as assigned by the Director of the Centre on Asia and Globalisation. This includes planning all logistical aspects of an event from booking vendors and spaces to statistical analysis of expenses and attendance.
- - Assist in the development of the research agenda;
- - Liaise and interact with relevant internal and external stakeholders to the project;
- - Produce occasional articles for the CAG newsletter and other internal Lee Kuan Yew School publications;
- - Assist in the drafting of project materials;
- - Manage the flow of commissioned papers and other research materials;
- - Maintain the content of the project section of the CAG web site; and
- - Prepare narrative and financial reports to the Donor as needed.
Qualifications:
- - A Masters Degree in any discipline;
- - An interest in global issues and research;
- - Excellent writing ability;
- - A proactive personality in managing event timelines;
- - The ability to communicate effectively with high level delegates;
- - Flexibility and strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- - High attention to detail and organizational skills; and
- - A demonstrated record of team work and cooperative administration in an academic setting
