Niclas A. Winterstorm is Senior Advisor at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM). He has more than a decade of hands-on experience in the investment banking industry. He started his professional career as junior portfolio manager within 'wealth management' at one of the most prominent US investment banks. He then joined the world's largest online brokerage firm, staying for half a decade, where he gained experience in a broad range of roles and functions, from back office operations to front office management.  In 2006, Niclas joined NBIM, which is one of the world's largest Sovereign Wealth Funds ($550 billion in assets under management), where he is currently Senior Advisor. While at NBIM, he has contributed to the development and progression of the fund's internal operations, risk management and controls. He has an MBA in Finance and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
