The Union Government Working Out a New Rating System for Infrastructure Projects Under Public Private Partnership (PPS) Schemes

KOCHI: The Union Government is working out a new rating system for infrastructure projects to be implemented under the public private partnership (PPS) schemes.

Presenting the theme at a workshop on Public Private Partnerships, organised by the CII in Kochi on Friday, Arvind Mayaram, joint secretary (infrastructure and ADB), Ministry of Finance, said that in the present rating system, the projects got a low grading due to lack of a balance sheet for the special purpose vehicles proposed for the project.
