Sorouh Real Estate, one of the UAE's leading real estate developers, have announced the appointment of Mouchel Parkman as infrastructure consultants for Al Mashtal, Sorouh's 736,000 sqm mixed-use development near the business district in Abu Dhabi.

The announcement follows a closed-bid invitation to a short-list of top international consultancy companies.

Acknowledged as leading international experts in project management and engineering, Mouchel Parkman will undertake infrastructure works including water, power, gas, communications, sewers, irrigation, district cooling, street lighting and internal roads.

The consultancy will also undertake several research projects on environmental issues, traffic impact, and also on geotechnical studies. The design package is expected to be completed by February 2008 to be ready for tender thereafter.
