Rudd Says Australia Won't Borrow for Infrastructure (Update1)

Sept. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Australian is not looking to borrow to fund new projects and will use budget surpluses to build roads and ports, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said.

The government has A$12.6 billion ($10.5 billion) allocated to the Building Australia Fund and will use the 2008-09 budget surplus for the remainder.
