Railway project to link Laguna and Rizal

The government mulls a 280-kilometer causeway road and railway project with an estimated cost of $ 2.4 billion that would link Laguna and Rizal provinces and open an alternative access that would decongest existing access points to Metro Manila from the south.

Panay Railways Inc. would be the coordinator of this project called the Laguna-Rizal Ecological Transport System (LABART).
