Public, private cooperation kicks Greensburg's renaissance into high gear

It wasn't that many years ago that downtown Greensburg began taking on the look of many older urban centers. Storefronts were empty and buildings needed some upgrading.

But over the past 15 years or so, small but important changes were implemented, and now the changes have grown into multimillion-dollar ventures that will change the look of downtown for years to come.

When Seton Hill University began clearing the way for its Center for the Performing Arts in November, even the most casual observer could see Greensburg's renaissance was going strong.
