Background: On Friday, April 13, 2006, China Exim Bank Chairman, Li Ruogu delivered a keynote address at the US Export-Import Bank Annual Meeting in Washington DC. Following the address, Pacific Environment's Policy Director, Doug Norlen, spoke briefly with Chairman Li to request that he release for public use China Exim Bank's heretofore undisclosed environmental policy. Chairman Li agreed, and after follow-up correspondence, on April 28, 2007 China Exim Bank provided Pacific Environment with a copy of the environmental policy (below).Posted by pichu at May 9, 2007 1:58 PM |
