ISLAMABAD, Dec 28 (APP): President General Pervez Musharraf here on Thursday promulgated an ordinance called the Recognition and Enforcement (Arbitration Agreements and Foreign Arbitral Awards) Ordinance-2006, to provide for the recognition and enforcement of arbitration agreements and foreign arbitral awards.

This ordinance may be called Recognition and Enforcement (Arbitration Agreements and Foreign Arbitral Awards) ordinance-2006 and it extends to whole of Pakistan.
