Portia Management Services scouts for India JV

KOLKATA: Portia Management Services (PMS), the overseas management, consultancy and training arm of UK’s second-largest port group -- Peel Ports Operations -- is scouting for joint venture opportunities port-related development projects in India.

For starters, PMS has tied up with Mumbai-based Zoom Developers to bid for minor port projects in Gujarat. “We have submitted five expressions of interests (EoIs) for development of small ports in Gujarat. These include development of complete ports as well as facilities like berths and terminals,” said Mr John Owens, managing director of Portia Management Services.
