ONGC awards USD 1.4-bn contract to German, South Korean firms

New Delhi, Dec 24, 2008 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) -- LNAGF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Oil and Natural Gas Corp today said it has awarded a USD 1.4-billion contract to Linde AG and Samsung Engineering for setting up a mega petrochemical project at Dahej in Gujarat.

ONGC Petro-additions Ltd, a special purpose vehicle set up by the state-run firm, awarded contract for dual feed cracker and associated units to Linde AG of Germany and Samsung Engineering of South Korea, a company statement said here.
