Nigeria: China to Spend $50bn On Infrastructure

The Chinese government has concluded arrangements to spend about $50 billion on development of infrastructure in Nigeria through SINOSURE, the Export Credit Guarantee Agency of China.

Briefing newsmen yesterday in Abuja on the outcome of the recent Federal Government's visit to China, the Finance Minister, Dr. Shamsuddeen Usman said the funds would be made available to operators in the private sector or public sector with projects related to infrastructure development.
