Malaysia's 9MP PFI Creates A Lot Of Interest In Indonesia

BANDUNG, April 2 (Bernama) -- Many Indonesian contractors are interested to know more about the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) that the Malaysian government has introduced for projects under the Ninth Malaysia Plan (9MP), according to the Vice President of Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM), Aziz Bahaman.

He said many of them who were aware of Malaysia's success with privatisation particularly in the areas of transport, utilities and land development posed a lot of questions to him on PFI after he presented a paper on the subject at a seminar here Saturday.
