Leighton JV inks $2bn Dubai airport deal

Leighton Holdings Limited (LEI) said the Al Habtoor Murray & Roberts Takenaka ("HMRT") joint venture had been awarded an AED4.9 billion ($2 billion) contract to build a new concourse at Dubai Airport. The project is worth AED2 billion to the Al Habtoor Leighton Group.

Leighton said the concourse would include one four star and one five star hotel, first and business class lounges, and duty free areas. The total built-up area would be 528,000 square metres.
