By Ravi Nambiar news@nstp.com.my August 9 2006 A NEW player is proposing to build an alternative high-speed train service between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, with stops in Seremban, Malacca and Johor Baru. Jalur Mudra Sdn Bhd, which is eyeing the project, said its "maglev" or magnetic levitation trains will run along the route of the North-South Expressway.
