Jacobs receives gas plant infrastructure contract


The company said it will design and install new gas compression, gas treatment facilities, a control system and utilities for the project at Storengy's Stublach, located in the North West England county of Cheshire.

Operations at the new facility are scheduled to begin in 2013 with a total investment estimated at about $500 million, the company said in a statement.

In a separate statement, Jacobs also said it was awarded a contract from City of Killeen, Texas, to provide professional services for the Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport and Robert Gray Army Airfield for a period of up to five years.
