Italy's F2i infrastructure fund to have 10-12 bln eur resources to invest

MILAN (AFX) - F2i, the Italian public-private infrastructure investment fund, will have up to 12 bln eur to spend on a wide range of infrastructure projects including roads, airports, and energy transmission grids, CEO Vito Gamberale said in an interview with Il Corriere della Sera.

The fund, which is 14.3 pct owned by state investment company Cassa Depositi e Prestiti SpA (CDP), will have 2 bln eur in equity, which will allow it to leverage a further 8.0-10.0 bln in debt, Gamberale said.
