It is Japan that cancelled MRT project, not RI

Kuala Lumpur (ANTARA News) - Vice President Jusuf Kalla said that it was Japan that had cancelled its financing scheme for the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) project, not the Indonesian government.

"It was not Indonesia but Japan that cancelled it because they rejected our offer that the project should not use Japanese contents," the Vice President told reporters here on Thursday.
