Indian markets are less risky now

Sean Darby from Asia Research Division of Nomura International believes that Indian markets are less risky now due to less leveraged positions. He feels that Indian markets are relatively overvalued as compared to Thailand and Taiwan.

Darby says that India has high oil import dependency. Hence he expects India's Current a/c Deficit to lessen due to the cool-off in crude prices. He further adds that the risk appetite for investors is too high in US, but it may come down.
