India: Public-private partnership to bring super-specialty hospital to city very soon

Chandigarh, May 18: Residents of City Beautiful will soon have a new multi-specialty hospital to cater to the increasing rush of patients. The hospital, to be set up on a public-private partnership basis, will focus on super specialties like cardiology and oncology.

"The land will be provided by the Administration and a private organisation will have the autonomy to run it," said an official of the UT Administration. "Since it is a partnership, the administration will get a part of the revenue earned," the official added.
