INDIA: IL&FS plans five water distribution projects in Haldia

New Delhi, Jan 29. (PTI): India's leading infrastructure development and finance company, Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services (IL&FS) will collaborate with the Haldia Development Authority for five-water distribution projects in Haldia.

"We are in the process of developing projects for water distribution for industrial use and household consumption," IL&FS CEO Pradeep Singh told PTI.

The five projects, to be developed as public private partnership (PPP) in collaboration with Haldia Development Authority, would comprise plants for water treatment, sewage management, water distribution, water augmentation and storm water drainage, Singh said.
