INDIA: DDA takes private-public route for developing parking lots

New Delhi, November 22: The DDA is about to launch its first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model parking lots, having allotted a number of plots solely to private concerns for development.

DDA's pilot project is set to take off at Mangalam Place, Rohini in the next few months. Officials at DDA's Commercial Land Department say they have already called for technical bids for the project. They have received 15 bids from construction companies including DLF, PS Constructions, Nagarjuna Constructions and Indiabulls-Shapoorjee Pallonjee.
