India considering Infrastructure Fund with Japan

Tokyo, Dec 14 (IANS) India is considering setting up a special infrastructure fund with Japan that would bring bilateral economic cooperation to a new level even as the two countries start negotiations on a comprehensive economic partnership agreement Friday.

The India-Japan Special Infrastructure Fund was mooted at an interaction between Indian business leaders and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Thursday, Commerce Minister Kamal Nath told reporters here.
