IFC Pumps US$100M in Africa's Infrastructure


The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has agreed to invest US$100 million in the Africa Infrastructure Investment Fund 2, an equity fund that will promote the development of basic infrastructure on the continent. IFC reached the agreement in Washington, D.C last week raising hope for improvement in Sub-Saharan Africa's dismal infrastructure sector.
