Source: Zee news New Delhi, Feb 06: IDFC has joined hands with US financial major, Citigroup to launch a USD 5 bn dollar infrastructure fund, of which USD 1 bn will be raised in the next couple of months. The fund is aimed at financing infrastructure development projects in the country. "We have joined hands with Citigroup to come out with a USD 5 bn infrastructure fund and we are also in talks with other investors for this fund," Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) Executive Director (Business Development) M K Sinha told agencies on the sidelines of a conference on infrastructure financing.Posted by pichu at February 6, 2007 8:10 AM |
