New InfraFund targets urgent infrastructure needs in Latin America and the Caribbean

Washington---12 Sept. 2006---The Inter-American Development Bank has launched a new project preparation fund that will catalize the development of critical infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, as part of its effort to lend $12 billion for such projects in the next five years.
