To begin with, multi-level parking complexes will come up at Punjagutta, Begum Bazar, Ameerpet and Khilwat by the end of this year. Another big parking complex will come up on the seven-acre Monda Market in Secunderabad where a survey is being taken up by the corporation. The GHMC has taken the decision following the High Court directive on parking problems three days ago. The parking complexes will be taken up on the build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis wherein builders construct the complexes and transfer them to the GHMC after 30 years.Posted by pichu at July 29, 2007 9:59 PM |
