The announcement that there will be third Palm island project in Dubai is just the latest in a string a mega projects. And Dubai Holding was created this week to manage a diverse group of mega projects. Perhaps the management of Dubai Inc. is now the eighth wonder of the world.

If MBA students were presented with the task of coming up with a management framework to handle the expansion that Dubai is now enjoying they would probably try to switch to an easier subject. That option is not available to the alpha-grade...
