Green Technology Help Bulgarian Thermal Power Plant Achieve Lower Emissions


GE, an infrastructure, finance and media company, has reportedly been contracted by Enel SpA to complete phase 6 of an 8-phase project at Enel Maritza East 3 Thermal Power Plant in Bulgaria.

To help the power plant realize increased unit reliability, lowered maintenance costs and achieve low emission targets GE will work on converting two electrostatic precipitators from tumbling hammer to GE's advanced top rap technology.
