Firms that rebuild roads, bridges worth a good look

Infrastructure fills gap left by income trust changes

Vancouver, BC (Vancouver Sun) - An aging overpass near Montreal collapses, with disastrous results. In Minneapolis, a bridge span breaks, sending cars hurtling into the water. As a hurricane surges toward New Orleans, the levees surrounding the city prove hopelessly inadequate.

The decaying state of North America's infrastructure is hitting home, and massive spending will be needed to bring the deteriorating stock of public assets up to scratch.
