FG Lifts Suspension on $8.5bn Rail Project

The Federal Government has rescinated its decision to suspend the execution of the $8.5billion contract for the rehabilitation of the Nigeria Railways.

Minister of Transport, Alhaji Ibrahim Isa Bio, said the government had now decided that the project cannot be abandoned at this stage and as such should be reactivated.
