Exxon Mobil Corp. says it has agreed to sell its 9.4 percent stake in the Norwegian natural gas transportation network Gassled Transportation System to Njord Gas Infrastructure AS. Terms were not disclosed.

Exxon Mobil said it will retain its right to transport gas through the system and will remain a major user. The sale is subject to approval by Norwegian authorities.
