East Africa seeks to tackle obstacles to investment

KIGALI (Reuters) - Leaders from the five-nation East African Community (EAC) urged investors into the region on Thursday and vowed to prioritise infrastructure and energy sectors seen as the greatest barriers to new business.

The trade bloc was holding its first investment conference in the Rwandan capital Kigali to showcase opportunities to about 800 regional and international investors.
