Dolphin project gets $4.8bn investments

The UAE and its Western partners have pumped nearly $4.8 billion (Dh17.6bn) into the Dolphin project that involves the Middle East's first major cross-border gasline taping the largest gas reservoir in the world.

Dolphin officials said the investments covered the construction of a sub-sea pipeline traversing the waters of three Gulf states, as well as upstream, midstream and downstream facilities in Qatar and the UAE.
