Czech: John Laing and Metrostav team up for PPP push

Public-private partnership (PPP) projects in the Czech Republic are finally starting to pick up again with some tenders for strategic partners expected by mid-2007.

One company hoping to benefit is British firm John Laing, a specialist owner, operator and manager of public sector infrastructure assets. The company’s CEE regional commercial director Jan Martásek said John Laing will bid in tenders for managing PPP assets not only in the Czech Republic, but throughout Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
