CHINA: Saudi prince `keen to buy CCC stake'

China Communications Construction Company, which builds ports, roads and airports, has attracted interest from a Saudi prince for its planned HK$16.1 billion initial public offering of H shares on the Hong Kong market, according to a source.

The firm plans to sell 3.5 billion new shares at between HK$3.40 and HK$4.60 each, or 13 to 18 times forecast earnings next year. A 15 percent overallotment option could lift the offering to HK$18.6 billion.
