This may be a possibility after Gov. Erico Aumentado asked President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to include in exploratory talks the possibility of constructing the Bohol-Cebu Friendship Bridge by the Chinese government or any Chinese construction investor.

President Arroyo will visit China late this week.

Aumentado suggested that the bridge to link the two major Central Visayas provinces be on a Build-Operate-and Transfer (BOT) scheme under the BOT Law and/or Official Development Assistance (ODA).
