Cameroon: World Bank's Anticorruption Strategy in the Pipeline

The synopsis was presented to experts last Monday, at the Bank's office in Yaounde.

Representatives of Non Governmental Organisations, civil society, religious groups and media houses, last Monday, 15 January reflected on the World Bank Group's new strategy for strengthening its engagement on governance and anticorruption activities. The meeting set out to debate on the proposed strategy and further make proposal that will be presented at the forthcoming General Assembly. Participants tackled eight categories of questions. This include: engagement strategy, multi-stakeholder approach, mitigating fiduciary risk and tracking change.
