BNP investment bank targets China, India, Russia

LONDON, Nov 17 (Reuters) - BNP Paribas will add more resources in its corporate and investment bank division next year in China, India and Russia, the French bank's top priorities in emerging markets, an executive told Reuters.

Jacques d'Estais, who heads BNP Paribas's corporate and investment bank, said his division was already expanding in China, where the firm said in September it planned to increase headcount by 50 percent from a current total of between 200 and 250 people.
