Bartlett may use taxpayer funds for pulp mill facilities

Tasmania's new Premier, David Bartlett, says he'll consider using public funds to build roads, wharves and pipelines for Gunns' pulp mill.

Mr Bartlett says he supports investing in infrastructure that stimulates economic growth.

In his first question time in the top job, Mr Bartlett has been pressed on whether taxpayers will foot the bill for any infrastructure for the pulp mill.
