Africa: Infrastructure - Continent Needs $22bn Yearly - Ezekwesili

World Bank's Vice-President, Africa Region, Dr Obiageli Ezekwesili, has disclosed that Africa needs an investment of 22 billion dollars (N2.6 trillion) on "annual basis" for infrastructural development.

This include the construction of highways, water and air transportation facilities, as well as other social amenities," Ezekwesili told journalists at a breakfast meeting at her office at the World Bank headquarters in Washington DC yesterday.
