AfDB announces massive funding for Morocco

Rabat, Morocco, 12/14 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) has announced that the overall amount planned in 2006 to finance reform programmes and loan projects in Morocco between 2007 and 2011 will range between US$240 million and US$500 million.

The AfDB has taken into account "the position within the Bank and the good performances at the level of the assessment of the country`s policy and institutions," said Lotfi Chakroun, head of the AfDB "Northern B" Region Operations Department.
