ADB reduces commitment fees; restructures main loan product

NEW DELHI, NOV 17: Manila-based Asian Development Bank (ADB) has reduced commitment fees for project loans, a key demand of India, as part of the series of enhancements it introduced in the Libor-based loan (LBL), ADB's main lending instrument.

The commitment fee for project loans will be changed from the current 75 basis points on a progressive structure of undisbursed loan balances to a flat fee of 35 basis points on the full amount of all undisbursed loan balances, the multilateral development financial institution said in a statement here.
