MORE than $30 billion (BD11.3bn) worth of construction projects are on the way in Bahrain, it was declared yesterday.

Premier's Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa said the huge investments were testimony to the resilience of Bahrain's economy and the confidence that global and regional investors had in it.

Shaikh Khalid was speaking after opening the Bahrain International Property Exhibition (Bipex 2008) at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
