$1bn project planned

MUSCAT: Dubai-based ETA Star Properties plans to build a 400 million rial ($1.04 billion) development in Muscat in a joint venture with a local firm, a project official said yesterday.

"It is going to be a 50-50 per cent joint venture with Oman Holding International (OHI) to build the properties. The flats and villas for sale will be sold to both local and international investors," Maqbool Hameed alSaleh, OHI chairman said.
