Chinese Investment and Construction Activity in Africa
Several recent articles, reports and newspaper stories chronicle the rise of Chinese contractors and investors in Africa and in other emerging markets. Here is a short-list of the very best analyses:

Two presentations that offer an intermediate progress report of a major study that CRGP has underway in collaboration with Tsinghua University, OECD and World Bank to investigate the financing and construction of Chinese projects in Africa. The study is slated for publication by the Stanford Press in mid-2008.

- South-South Investment: The Case of Africa. This book chapter published in December 2005 by FONDAD, in Africa in the World Economy, is one of the earlier analyses of the South-South investment trend.
- Beijing's Safari: China's Move into Africa and Its Implications for Aid, Development, and Governance. A 7 page policy outlook statement from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
- China's Export-Import Bank and Africa: New Lending, New Challenges.
