Kassia Yanosek to launch study 'New Players' in Emerging Markets Infrastructure

Kassia Yanosek has joined the CRGP team to initiate an exploratory research study titled "Identifying the 'New Players' in Emerging Markets Infrastructure".

The objective of the study is to identify and investigate the new set of Chinese, Malaysian, Middle Eastern and other developing world investors who are beginning to invest in infrastructure - i.e. water, power, roads, etc. - in emerging markets in a serious way. The findings will be presented at the 3rd General Counsels' Roundtable to be held in early 2007.

Kassia is an MBA student at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is pursuing a joint degree with the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Kassia has experience in project finance at Bechtel Corp. and at BP, where two summers ago she evaluated the project financing of the BTC pipeline in the Caspian region.
