David Altshuler Appointed as Visiting Scholar

David Altshuler has been appointed as a Visiting Scholar at the Collaboratory. David will participate in a study of strategy, structure, and evolution of global infrastructure funds.

David Altshuler is an AVP of Infrastructure Financing at Nuveen Investments in Chicago.

David joined Nuveen in 2002 as a research analyst, and has an expertise in several public and project finance sectors. More recently, David had responsibility for business development initiatives focused on global infrastructure investment activities.

Prior to Nuveen, David completed his Ph.D. in cultural anthropology at the University of Chicago . His doctoral research focused on economic privatization and corruption in Eastern Europe, and he spent more than 5 years doing field-work in the region.

David has had research appointments at the American Bar Foundation, the Czech Academy of Sciences, and has spoken on infrastructure finance at industry conferences.
