CRGP Graduate Student Wins Stanford Graduate Fellowship

CRGP Graduate Student Amy Javernick Will has been selected to receive a Stanford Graduate Fellowship (SGF) award beginning in the Autumn quarter 2007-2008 for 8 quarters (2 full years).

This award will support Amy's Ph.D. research on how global engineering, construction and development firms involved in delivering infrastructure projects worldwide acquire and disseminate the knowledge they have gained about the local values, beliefs, work practices, industry organization and legal institutions in each of the countries where they are active throughout their organizations and supply chains.

Selection as an SGF fellow is a great honor. These fellowships are highly competitive and are made possible by endowment and university funds. Amy was nominated by the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department based on her stellar academic record, scholarship and research progress, and letters of recommendation from faculty. A University committee subsequently approved this nomination.
